First-time parent? Looking for a refresher before your baby arrives? You can find the right class for you – whether it's online learning, childbirth education, sibling class or meeting with a birth planner.

YoMingo eClass

This one-of-a-kind tool gives expecting parents medically-accurate information that you can trust regarding your pregnancy and newborn.  YoMingo eClass is accessible on your computer, tablet or smart phone and is available in multiple languages.

It is recommended that you complete YoMingo eClass prior to attending Childbirth Series or Childbirth Express.

Childbirth Series

This series covers hands-on learning to help you to prepare for the birth of your baby.  The series runs for two evening classes.
Topics include: breathing techniques and comfort measures, labor and pushing positions, labor rehearsal, pain management options, tour of the Circle of Caring Birthplace, creating a birth plan, breastfeeding, newborn care, car seat safety, and infant CPR and choking rescue*.

Please bring a pillow to class and wear comfortable clothing. One or two support persons may accompany the expectant mother at no extra cost.

Space is limited to 12 expectant couples. Cost is $50 and registration is required. To register, click here or call (877) 566-4660.

This one-day hands-on learning class will help you to prepare for the birth of your baby.

Sibling Class

This one-hour class is geared to children aged 2 to 10. It’s an interactive presentation on what to expect with a new sibling at home. Children are encouraged to bring a small doll or stuffed animal to class to use to practice diapering and holding a newborn. A short tour of the obstetrics unit and a snack are also included.

Tiny Details Birth Planning Service

Experienced parent looking for a refresher on what to expect when you come to Goshen Hospital?

This free, personalized appointment allows you to meet privately with an experienced OB nurse.  Your birth planner will provide you with the latest information on services, products and support available to help ensure a healthy birth and baby.

Triple P Discussion Groups

Triple P Parenting Program is designed to give parents the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and to build stronger family relationships. Discussion groups are for parents of children up to 12 years old. Each group focuses on one of the following topics: Dealing with Disobedience, Developing Good Bedtime Routines, Managing Fighting and Aggression, and Hassle-free Shopping with Children.

The discussion groups are free for parents.

Triple P Teen Discussion Groups

Triple P Parenting Program is designed to give parents the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and to build stronger family relationships. Discussion groups are for parents of teenagers 13-16 years old. Each group focuses on one of the following topics: Reducing Family Conflict, Getting Teenagers to Cooperate, and Building Teenagers’ Survival Skills.
