Your heart beats
When your heart beats irregularly – too slow, fast or erratically – it pumps less effectively. And an irregular heart beat prevents the lungs, brain and all other organs from working properly. Arrhythmias can lead to heart disease, stroke or sudden cardiac death.
To provide more comprehensive heart and vascular care, we invested in a state-of-the-art electrophysiology lab – to better treat heart arrhythmias. The lab’s 3-D mapping system allows 3-D images to be superimposed over X-ray images, reducing the number of X-rays needed – reducing both patient and provider exposure to radiation. This lab enhances the innovative care of our fellowship trained surgeons, cardiologists and radiologists, who work together on your behalf.
