Spiritual care and chaplaincy services
We never forget that our patients are much more than simply a disease to be treated or an injury to be healed. Our healing approach includes a focus on the whole person –physically, emotionally and spiritually. That's why we offer spiritual guidance and counseling for patients and their families, whether in the hospital or one of our same-day treatment facilities.
Our spiritual care coordinator, staff and on-call chaplains, and spiritual care visitors at Goshen Hospital provide a full range of spiritual care and chaplaincy services. A member of our team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to listen and serve patients and families who request spiritual care. With each patient, these caregivers provide support, hope, healing and compassion. They always acknowledge the spirituality of all persons, even those who have no specific religion or faith tradition.
