GOSHEN, Ind. – Amy Floria, CPA, MBA, was named one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s 130 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know for 2016 on Nov. 28, 2016. Amy Floria is the only health system CFO in northern Indiana to receive this recognition.

Becker’s Hospital Review publishes its list of “130 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know,” featuring highly accomplished C-suite level women leaders. According to Becker’s Hospital Review all recipients have demonstrated outstanding leadership and management throughout their careers, leading initiatives to improve their individual organization’s quality, operational and financial performance, as well as the well-being of the communities they serve.

Since 2008, Floria has served as the chief financial officer for Goshen Health. She has been with the health system for more than 16 years. She has more than 20 years of experience in health care and public accounting. Floria oversees all financial operations including financial reporting and planning, budgeting, treasury and revenue cycle management for the health system. In addition to these responsibilities, Floria leads LEAN process improvement initiatives within the organization.

Floria earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Accountancy at Manchester University in North Manchester, Indiana and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. Floria is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Indiana CPA Society, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Healthcare Financial Management Association.
