Take the first step in preventing diabetes
To help people with diabetes and their families know what they can do to make a difference, Goshen Health is offering a FREE class for adults focused on learning more about good nutrition, exercise, weight loss and stress management. Plan now to attend the Proactive Diabetes Class on Monday, February 11 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the Wellness classroom located on the second floor of the Heart & Vascular Center.
Being overweight is a main risk factor for type 2 diabetes. That’s why it’s so important for people with diabetes to manage their health as best as they can by exercising, quitting smoking and eating healthy. Most people find it easier to make healthy changes in a few small steps instead of all at once. Set realistic goals and learn how to take the first step to a healthier you.
