Upcoming Shred It event raises money for women in need of screening mammograms

On Saturday, April 7 from 9:00 a.m. - noon, Goshen Retreat Women’s Health Center will host a mobile paper shredding event for the public. The event is a fundraiser for HeartStrings Sisters, a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance for screening mammograms for income-eligible, medically underserved women in our community.

Goshen Hospice earns We Honor Veterans Level Three recognition

On the morning of Jan. 19 Jackie Pressler, administrative assistant at Lippert Components, was at work. She was having a very rapid heartbeat – or spells, as she thought of them – which she had managed in the past by clenching up her muscles. But that morning, her technique wasn’t working. Finally after several hours, her supervisor called Pressler’s husband, Ronald, to take her to the hospital.

Volunteer provides comfort at infusion center

Few people in an infusion treatment center choose to be there. Sherri Seniff is different. A volunteer with Goshen Center for Cancer Care, she chooses to be with patients in the Infusion Center every Wednesday.
