Goshen Health announces closings due to subzero weather

Due to the upcoming subzero weather, Goshen Health will close several non-essential offices on Wednesday, January 30 and Thursday, January 31, 2019.

Goshen Hospital recently attained Magnet recognition for the fourth time for providing the highest quality of nursing care to patients. Our outstanding care placed us in an elite group of 59 organizations worldwide who have achieved Magnet designation four times. To achieve this recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the hospital met the rigorous standards for nursing excellence established by the Magnet Recognition Program®. This credential is the highest national honor for professional nursing practice.

Goshen Health will host a public open house to celebrate the grand opening of the Goshen Physicians Family Medicine location in Bristol on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 304 E. Vistula Street. The community is welcome to tour the facility from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Become certified in saving lives

If you’re interested in advancing your career or starting a new one in the rewarding field of emergency care, attend the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) classes at Goshen Health. Classes begin Monday, February 4, and run through Saturday, June 15, 2019. This class meets once a week from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on the second floor of the Community Wellness, High Park building located next to the Goshen Hospital at 1721 South Main Street in Goshen.

Goshen Hospital earns Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence designation

Patients receiving imaging services at Goshen Hospital can rest assured they are receiving the highest quality, safety and care. Goshen Hospital recently renewed its three-year designation as a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence™ (DICOE) from the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Local kids ran 4,558 miles since August!

Running in their school’s halls encourages students to exercise, as proven by the seven schools who participated in Goshen Health’s Run the Halls program this fall semester. Together, the schools – Jefferson, Prairie View, Monger, York, Riverdale, Oxbow and Chandler Elementary – signed up 352 students, who ran a total of 4,558 miles this fall.
