1,915 positive test results (overall positivity rate of 12.3%)
13,667 negative test results
103 outstanding test results
281 hospital admissions
269 hospital discharges
30 confirmed COVID-19 positive related mortalities
“Over the last few days we have seen a worrisome uptick in hospitalizations and numbers of people testing positive for COVID-19, but we are still in a better place than we were in late June and early July,” said Dr. Dan Nafziger, Goshen Hospital Chief Medical Officer and Infectious Disease Specialist. “Unfortunately, as the weather gets colder, people will be spending more time indoors where transmission occurs more readily. We will continue to need everyone to wear masks (especially indoors), physical distance, stay home if you’re sick and get tested if you are ill or were exposed to the virus.”
