Diabetes, Heart Disease and You

November 7, 2018

GOSHEN, Ind. – To help people with diabetes and their families know what they can do to make a difference, Goshen Hospital is offering a FREE class focused on eating well and managing blood pressure. Plan now to attend Diabetes, Heart Disease and You on Monday, November 12 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Birch/Walnut conference room at Goshen Hospital.

People with diabetes have a higher risk of having a heart attack or stroke, according to the American Diabetes Association. In fact, adults with diabetes are two to four times more likely to die from heart disease than adults without diabetes. That’s why it’s so important for people with diabetes to manage their health as best they can by exercising, quitting smoking and eating healthy.

This event is open to the public. Registration is required for this class. To register or for more information, please call (574) 364-2746.
