GOSHEN, Ind. – Staying healthy in the new year is an important resolution, but many adults don’t take advantage of preventative screenings. The new year is a great time to remember to take care of yourself. Schedule an appointment during Goshen Health’s next Health Screening event on Thursday, February 14 for quick and simple screenings to check your risks for certain health conditions and learn recommendations for improvements. This screening event will be held on the second floor of Community Wellness, in the High Park building at 1721 South Main Street, next to Goshen Hospital.
“Now I know it’s important to keep checking my numbers all the time,” said Tom Swoveland, Goshen Health screening participant. “It’s the only way to keep the numbers where they should be.”
Our healthcare professionals will answer your questions and can make simple recommendations for a healthier lifestyle based on your results. Unless noted otherwise, the following health screenings at this event are free:
- Blood pressure, pulse and blood oxygen level
- Body mass index
- Bone density heel scan (women over 50 only)
- Cholesterol ($20 fee, prepayment required)
- Diabetes risk assessment
Screenings will be done by appointment only; no walk-in screenings accepted. To schedule your appointment on February 14, please call (574) 364-2496.
