Goshen Health Auxiliary increases scholarships awarded to students

GOSHEN, Ind. –This year Goshen Health Auxiliary doubled the number of scholarships to help high school students pursue careers in health care, including nursing, pre-med and the sciences. Twenty scholarships of $1,000 were awarded to the following students:

  • Adriana Berger – Goshen High School, Goshen College
  • Meghan Cawood – Northridge High School, Kent State
  • Clayton Hicks – Wawasee High School, Purdue University
  • Kirsten Hochstedler – Northwood High School, Bethel College
  • Jared Hoffman – Northwood, Butler University
  • Jordan Kintigh – Fairfield High School, Monmouth College
  • Tiffany Koble – Wawasee High School, Indiana University Fort Wayne
  • Kyla Long – Northridge High School, University of Findlay
  • Olivia Long – Wawasee High School, Olivet Nazarene University
  • Margaret McCoy – Westview High School, Purdue University
  • Simon Myers – Goshen High School, Purdue University Fort Wayne
  • Breanne Resler – Northwood High School, Purdue University
  • Garrett Roberts – Concord High School, IUPUI
  • Andrew Rumachik – Northwood High School, Indiana University South Bend
  • Katie Schlichter – Goshen High School, Indiana Wesleyan University
  • Anna Staltari – Northridge High School, Purdue University
  • Kendall Wrage – Wawasee High School, Manchester University
  • Brayton Yoder – Northwood High School, Butler University
  • Kaci Yoder – Bethany Christian High School, Goshen College
  • Erica Zook – Fairfield High School, Huntington University

“We had so many applicants this year – and so many we wanted to support in pursuing their education – that we decided to award 20 scholarships instead of 10, as we did last year,” said Amy Berger, Auxiliary Secretary and Scholarship Chair. “The field of health care continues to need talented professionals to serve an ever-growing need. We hope these students will find their way to improving the health of the communities they serve in after they graduate.”
