GOSHEN, Ind., Nov. 1, 2017 – Goshen Health hosted a public groundbreaking ceremony for the Alice A. and Rex Martin Infusion Center on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Goshen Center for Cancer Care.
Slated to open in fall of 2018, the new Infusion Center is designed to provide an exceptional experience for patients undergoing infusion treatment. It will feature large, private infusion bays with added space for friends and family to lend support during the procedures. The modern design will also house the latest infusion technology with wide hallways and plenty of space for healthcare professionals.
The Rex and Alice A. Martin Foundation recently announced a generous donation to Goshen Health in support of the development and construction of the new Infusion Center. Alice Martin, who was a patient at Goshen Center for Cancer Care, explained the reasoning behind the donation, saying, “This support for the Infusion center comes from our hearts as personal expressions of gratitude, but also from a deep desire to strengthen the ability of the Goshen Center for Cancer Care to continue to treat others on their cancer journey.”
