GOSHEN, Ind. – James Caskey will become the vice president of Goshen Health Foundation and capital campaign director, beginning April 30. In his role, he will lead the fundraising and development for the foundation, while serving as an ambassador for Goshen Health’s mission and culture throughout the community. Mark Lindemood, who has served in a leadership capacity for Goshen Health Foundation for the past seven and a half years, is retiring in June.

Randy Christophel, president and CEO of Goshen Health, said, “Jim has exceptional experience in developing philanthropic partnerships to achieve community needs. His energy and gifts in relationship-building will be an asset to Goshen Health Foundation and contribute to helping us fulfill our mission of improving the health of our communities. His leadership at Goshen College was second to none and we are so grateful his talents will continue to benefit Goshen.”

Caskey, a graduate of Goshen College, has served as the vice president for institutional advancement at Goshen College since 2009. He has held various positions in development for the institution since 1997. According to Dr. Rebecca Stoltzfus, president of Goshen College, “Jim has advanced the mission of Goshen College with skill and unflagging enthusiasm for the past 20 years. Goshen Health is fortunate to gain his leadership, and we are glad that his talent will remain in the neighborhood.”

“Serving this community is something I am passionate about. I have had the privilege of being a part of Goshen for many years and have seen first-hand the power of collaboration among our friends and neighbors. I look forward to working closely with community leaders and the Colleagues at Goshen Health to build a stronger and healthier future for generations to come,” Caskey said.

Jim is active on boards and in volunteer roles with the Goshen Chamber of Commerce, Horizon Education Alliance, Community Foundation of Elkhart County and the Rotary Club of Goshen, to name a few.
