GOSHEN, Ind. – Goshen Home Care & Hospice is offering six grief support group meetings this spring at Goshen Hospital. The meetings are free and open to the public. Emotional support, storytelling and discussion about ongoing grief experiences will be the focus. Participants are encouraged to call (574) 364‐2700 to RSVP by March 11.
“Our goals in these meetings is to focus on providing a safe and caring setting for individuals to share their experiences. Additionally, we want to help them improve how they care for themselves,” said Janet Quatman, LSW, CHP-SW, Social Worker and Bereavement Coordinator, who will lead the meetings.
Meetings will start on March 12 and run every Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. until April 16. The meeting on April 2 will include a “cooking for one” demonstration by Chef Samantha Moore, Goshen Hospital Food and Nutrition Services, for those adjusting to living alone. Discussion and support will follow.
