GOSHEN, Ind. – Patients having heart attacks at Goshen Hospital receive the highest standard of care than at other hospitals in Northern Indiana, according to the American College of Cardiology’s National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR). The NCDR recognized Goshen Hospital with its GWTG Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2017. Goshen Hospital is the only hospital in Northern Indiana to achieve this distinction and one of 195 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor.

The award recognizes hospitals that consistently demonstrate excellence in heart attack care by delivering timely, appropriate, safe and “defect-free” care.
