GOSHEN, Ind. – Patients receiving imaging services at Goshen Hospital can rest assured they are receiving the highest quality, safety and care. Goshen Hospital recently renewed its three-year designation as a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence™ (DICOE) from the American College of Radiology (ACR).
“We are excited to celebrate this achievement with our imaging team,” said Randy Christophel, Goshen Health President and Chief Executive Officer. “Their drive for excellence demonstrates our ongoing commitment to provide innovative, outstanding care and services.”
The DICOE program exceeds the standard requirements of facility-wide ACR accreditation. In order to receive this distinction, a survey team conducted a comprehensive assessment at Goshen Hospital to evaluate quality, safety, procedures and personnel. In addition, ongoing self-assessment is required, including participation in the Dose Index Registry®, General Radiology Improvement Database and Image Wisely® and Image Gently® pledges.
“Our goal is to provide the best imaging experience for our patients. We are extremely proud to be the first healthcare organization in the state of Indiana to receive this prestigious designation. This designation recognizes our efforts to go above and beyond,” said Michelle Sinkovics, MHA, Goshen Hospital Director of Imaging Services.
