GOSHEN, Ind. – Effective immediately, Goshen Hospital has lifted the visitor restrictions related to flu season. Local influenza activity has been on the decline, prompting this change.
“We thank the community for their cooperation during our visitor restrictions. Patient safety is our top priority, and we encourage everyone to remain attentive to flu prevention. There still is influenza circulating, so everyone should wash their hands frequently, cover a cough and stay home rather than visiting a hospital patient if they may be getting sick,” stated Dr. Daniel Nafziger, Chief Medical Officer, Goshen Hospital.
