NeuroCare Center Goshen Physicians is hosting an educational event for neuroscience nurses on June 20, 2019. Nichole Reynolds MS, BSN, RN-BC, CNRN, from Parkview Hospital will be presenting on multiple sclerosis.
“This event is a great educational opportunity. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) no longer has to be the devastating disease it once was decades ago. Never before have we had so many medications and therapies to choose from to stop or slow down the progression of MS,” said Leah Miller, FNP, Nurse Practitioner at NeuroCare Center Goshen Physicians.
Nurses and nurse practitioners who care for patients with neurological conditions are encouraged to attend. Participants can receive one hour continuing medical education (CME) credit. Dinner will be provided, and seating is limited; RSVP to email@example.com
This event is organized by the Northern Indiana Chapter of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses (AANN). Nurses from NeuroCare Center Goshen Physicians formed the chapter in June 2018 to provide continuing education, networking and community service opportunities for local neurology inpatient and outpatient nurses.
“We are excited to host this event because nurses provide such an integral role in caring for patients and their families,” said Jody Neer, MD, Neurologist and Medical Director of NeuroCare Center Goshen Physicians. “Providing educational support to the nurses in our community has a direct impact on the quality of care patients and their families receive.”
