Stephanie Smith, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, has brought her passion for preventive medicine and holistic care to Goshen Physicians Family Medicine - Nappanee. As a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Smith works closely with the Nappanee team of family medicine doctors to provide comprehensive medical care for the entire family.
Smith’s approach to care focuses on building patient-doctor relationships and tailoring medical care to each patient’s needs. She encourages patients to take an active role in their health and wellbeing through preventive measures and by leading a healthy lifestyle.
Family medicine gives Smith an avenue to focus on patient education and wellness as well as healthy lifestyle management. She has a strong interest in natural family planning based on the Creighton Model of fertility care.
Previously, Smith’s nursing experience included caring for patients in intensive care and cardiac care units.
Smith received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Indiana University in South Bend, Indiana. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.
