Naturopathic medicine is more than managing disease for Dr. Desai. She is passionate about helping patients live a vital life filled with energy and wellness. Dr. Desai takes the time to investigate the root causes of disease. Then she works with each patient to improve quality of life through lifestyle modifications.
Natural therapies that interest Dr. Desai include clinical nutrition, lifestyle, botanical medicine and homeopathic medicine. She focuses on using these therapies to address chronic and/or preventable disease in each patient.
Since 2017, Dr. Desai has helped educate patients about disease prevention as both a Health Promotion Specialist and a wellness clinician at Goshen Health. She uses results from health screenings to identify patients at risk for diseases, such as hypertension, osteoporosis, heart and vascular conditions and obesity.
Dr. Desai received her degree as a Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. She holds a Master of Health Science from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa, Ontario.
