If you have diabetes, taking care of your feet is even more important than the general public. That’s because diabetes can affect the circulation of your feet and toes. Join us on Monday, October 21, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. to learn how to keep your feet healthy and happy at Goshen Health’s diabetes foot seminar. The seminar will be held in Goshen Hospital’s Birch/Walnut room located off the main lobby.
When people with diabetes experience poor circulation in their feet, they can lose feeling in their feet. That may make it harder for them to notice if a cut isn’t healing properly, for example. We’ll discuss tips to overcome diabetic challenges of foot care to keep feet in good health including specialized footwear, having regular foot exams and staying active.
This is a free class, open to the public and no registration is required. For more information, please call (574) 364-2746 or visit GoshenHealth.com/Care-Services/Diabetes-Management
