GOSHEN, Ind. – Come check out the “touch and see” innovation stations showcasing how the heart works, how heart conditions are treated and so much more! This free, family-friendly event will be held at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds inside the Elkhart County Community Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 3.
Step inside a colossal human heart and learn what makes you tick! Explore this giant exhibit by entering through the largest vein that feeds the heart and exit through the aorta, the largest artery that leaves the heart. Along the way, learn about this very important muscle and observe examples of heart disease, America’s number one cause of deaths for men and women in the U.S.
Discover what your heart looks like electrically at one of seven innovation stations. Touch and see heart devices and observe heart tests in progress. Spend some time at the Kids Zone, featuring fun and interactive activities. That’s just the start!
To help promote heart health, prevention and awareness, Goshen Heart & Vascular Center is bringing the MEGA Heart® to the community. Cardiologists, nurse practitioners, lab technologists, nutrition experts – and many other Goshen Health Colleagues who provide heart-related care and diagnostics – will be present at this event.
