Coronary heart disease is a condition where plaque builds up in your arteries. As plaque builds up, it can make the arteries more rigid and narrow, resulting in reduced blood flow to the heart as well as other complications. By following a healthy lifestyle, many people can prevent or delay coronary heart disease from occurring.
