The next meeting of Goshen Health’s heart failure support group will be Thursday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Greencroft Community Center in Goshen. This month’s meeting will feature discussion of a self-check plan for recognizing worsening symptoms of heart failure including the American Heart Association action plan for worsening symptoms. Written information will be available for attendees to take home, including a Self-Check Plan as well as a handout on Procedures That May Help Heart Failure. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
Enrollment is open for emergency medical technician (EMT) classes offered by the Goshen Health Education Department. The five-month course introduces students to basic skills and knowledge needed for EMT certification.
