Goshen Orthopedics is hosting a free seminar on hip and knee replacement. The seminar will be held on Thursday, May 25 at 1:00 p.m. at Greencroft Middlebury Senior Center, 701 Windridge Drive, Middlebury. Admission is free, and the presentation is open to the public.
Goshen Hospital recently installed a GE Revolution Apex computed tomography (CT) scanner to provide sharper, more accurate images while reducing exposure to radiation. In addition, the new imaging machine will allow the hospital to scan pediatric patients quicker.
The American College of Cardiology has again recognized Goshen Hospital as a leader in heart attack care for the twelfth year in a row. The hospital is one of 262 hospitals nationwide to receive the Platinum Performance Achievement Award for excellence in heart attack care.
The Goshen Farmers Market offers a free program focused on encouraging kids to make healthy food choices. Every Tuesday, May through October, from 3 to 7 p.m. school-age children can participate in Sprouts Kids Club and receive free tokens to spend on fresh produce from local farmers at the market.
