How the clinic works
Business Health Advantage on-site clinics will be tailored to meet your company's needs for primary, immediate and preventive care as well as occupational care. This will provide many benefits to your company. Along with traditional primary or immediate care services, the clinic offers immunizations to keep employees healthy and on the job during the flu season. We can also provide pre-employment physicals. Perhaps most importantly, the clinic enables improved access to the appropriate level of primary care at the right time to control and prevent further health-related complications that could end up costing your business more money.
On-site/mobile clinic
On-site or mobile employer clinic is available to employees and their families. One option involves an on-site clinic in a building at your facility that can perform services at a lower cost with convenient hours, which results in less time away from work.
Another option is the mobile clinic. The mobile clinic would visit your facility or facilities on specified days and times, providing the same level of medical expertise as the on-site clinic. Whether onsite or mobile, the clinic provides convenient access to low-cost prescriptions and lab tests, saving your business money.
Providers and staff
Both the on-site and mobile clinics may be staffed by physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and/or medical assistants depending on company needs. These individuals are fully trained and highly experienced in primary, urgent or occupational health care. They can assess the health conditions and needs of your employees, consult with them on their issues and prepare a plan. In addition, your employees and their families benefit from access to primary care providers and a broad range of specialists in the Goshen Health family or coordinate care with their existing primary care provider (PCP).
Clinic Healthcare Options
Primary Care includes heath promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling, patient education, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
Urgent/acute care includes testing for conditions such as flu, step, mononucleosis, pregnancy and minor procedures such as lacerations which may involve placement and removal of sutures.
Occupational care While traditional clinics offer primary and urgent care options, there may be opportunities to offer occupational health care for organizations that may experience work related injuries. These clinics provide initial injury treatment, and they also coordinate patient care during recovery to help get employees back to work as quickly and safely as possible.
