    Bethany VanderZwaag, is a family medicine physician with Goshen Physicians Family Medicine Elkhart.     Biography

    Ann Cuthbert, RN, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with honors from Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis with her Masters. As a result of her education and training, Ann decided to focus her care for her patients on health promotion and disease prevention. Ann has experience treating patients with many chronic conditions including diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, ADD, COPD and asthma. With her patient satisfaction reaching nearly 100%, Ann understands how best to meet the needs of her patients with the highest quality of care. Ann is bilingual in Spanish and therefore is able to meet the needs of a growing number of diverse cultures within our community.

    Philosophy of Care

    Ann really enjoys getting to know her patients and treating them on an individual level. She spends as much time as needed with each patient to understand their concerns and to figure out the best way to help them with their health needs. Ann believes that prevention is key and therefore provides her patients and their families with as much education as possible in order for them to fully understand their treatment options.

    Clinical Interest

    Having worked for some time with the VA, Ann has a keen interest in veterans’ health. She has focused on both acute and chronic medical conditions in community-based out-patient clinics for our US veterans. Ann also capitalizes on her knowledge of the Spanish language and culture by providing culturally relevant treatment options for her patients within those communities.
