    Edward William Boyts, MD, is a board certified primary care physician who practices general medicine at Goshen Physicians Family Medicine New Paris. He is dedicated to improving the health of our community by providing expert medical care for people of all ages. He has provided care to families in New Paris since 1990. Dr. Boyts treats all members of families from newborns to the elderly, including all acute and chronic illnesses. He does many office surgeries and procedures. In addition to providing care at the New Paris family practice, Dr. Boyts has served as the physician advisor to the Goshen Hospital Physical Therapy Department since 1990. He is also a member of Goshen Hospital and the Goshen Health System Boards of Trustees.

    Dr. Boyts understands small town culture and treats families with the best of an old country doctor attitude, yet includes modern medicine and care. He is easy-going, casual and friendly with his patients. He tries his best to provide whatever care his patients need, even if it is just a listening ear and a kind word. Dr. Boyts uses the latest medical advancements to ensure that his patients and their families have convenient access to a wide spectrum of comprehensive medical services, all backed by the full support of Goshen Health.

    Rebecca Stichter, MSN, BSN, is a certified family nurse practitioner at Goshen Physicians Family Medicine New Paris. She works alongside Edward Boyts, MD, to care for patients of all ages – from newborn to senior citizens. Becky’s treatment expertise covers a broad spectrum from routine exams and preventive medicine to ongoing management of chronic conditions and illnesses.

    Becky encourages her patients to take an active role in their care. By working together, she guides and educates patients on treatment options that best meet their needs. To help patients protect and maintain their health, Becky places a high priority on preventive health care.
