She is a dedicated member of not only the medical community, but also her home town. Born at Goshen General Hospital, she later attended Goshen High School and Adrian College. Dr. Haimes went on to receive her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. From there, she did her residency at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

    As a medical student, Dr. Perrin volunteered, providing health care to the underserved through a community clinic and a shelter for the homeless.
