    Biography

    Lenora Hirschler MD, is a board certified family physician with over 10 years of experience. She sees patients in the outpatient setting and provides primary care for the whole family, excluding pregnancy care.

    Philosophy of Care

    Dr. Hirschler provides primary care for the whole patient within the context of their family and community. She works to ensure each patient and family have the tools necessary to make the best decisions about their health. She listens to patients and gets to know them, to gain insight into which treatment approaches would be best-suited for them. With her guidance, Dr. Hirschler hopes to see her patients through their health challenges.

    Dr. Hirschler practices within the typical range of high-quality primary care such as women’s health, pediatrics, and management of chronic adult illnesses. She treats minor illnesses and injuries. In addition, she especially enjoys treating skin disorders and doing minor skin procedures. Dr. Hirschler has special training and experience helping opioid-dependent patients gain access to therapies to help them recover.

    Biography

    Angie Mattern, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, is a board certified family nurse practitioner at Goshen Physicians Pro Park. Prior to her becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse in the family practice setting in the emergency department and in a mental health facility. Angie’s focus is health promotion and disease prevention through evidence based practice. She aims to develop a practice with a focus on health maintenance, risk reduction and disease prevention. She works to improve the health of the community by organizing and participating in community outreach programs that educate patients through events such as health fairs, diabetic screenings, pap-a-thons, immunization clinics, etc. She also participates in foreign and local medical mission programs providing quality care to the underserved populations.

    Angie enjoys developing relationships with patients and their families to provide an individualized plan of care. She spends quality time with her patients to understand their concerns and identify ways to provide them with exceptional care. Angie is passionate about preventive care and therefore provides screening assessments and education to all of her patients on a regular basis. She believes in a holistic approach to health care that addresses emotional, physical, social and spiritual care. The goal of her practice is to provide integrated patient care in the family practice setting, to empower the individual to achieve wellness.

    Family practice is the perfect fit for Angie’s wide range of interests. She focuses on all aspects of primary care medicine and is most interested in providing the highest level of care in collaboration with other specialists to people in the local community. She is passionate about women’s health issues, empowering women to maintain healthy lifestyles and providing comprehensive pediatric care. Angie has also spent time working with pediatricians who specialize in screening and managing ADD and anxiety within the pediatric population.
