Kerry Keaffaber, MD, is a board certified physician of family medicine and specialist in geriatric medicine. He has practiced medicine in the community for over 25 years. As a primary care physician with Goshen Physicians Family Medicine Shipshewana, he takes care of everyone in the family, from newborns to senior citizens. He provides all types of medical care, from routine exams, immunizations and vaccinations to vital health screenings and biopsies, as well as treatment for minor wounds and everyday colds and flu.

Dr. Keaffaber believes the best way to take care of patients is to build close, professional relationships with them. He listens thoughtfully, always wanting to learn more about their everyday lives, families and health concerns. Those who work closely with Dr. Keaffaber also appreciate his passion for medicine and serving others.
Dr. Keaffaber has gained unique insight into treatment of all conditions and diseases that are part of a family’s life, except obstetrics. He holds special interest in providing medical care for older patients and served as the medical director at Miller’s Merry Manor in Lagrange. Dr. Keaffaber is one of the only family practice doctors in the area who has performed colonoscopy screenings and esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGDs) to examine the lining of the esophagus, stomach and part of the small intestine, for more than 20 years. He also takes special interest in surgical treatments for skin disorders.
