Dr. Kehinde Animashaun, MD, CHB, FAAP, is a board certified pediatrician who practices at Goshen Physicians Pediatrics. She is dedicated to improving the health of our community by providing expert medical care for newborns to 18-year olds. She believes health education is the best way to empower her patients. With a genuine concern for the well-being of children, Dr. Animashaun has worked in the areas of rehabilitation, research and patient care for more than 33 years. In that time, she has reached out to high school students, families with HIV and motherless babies. She was also awarded the “Marie Randolph Award for Outstanding Clinical Performance” from the Howard University College of Medicine for her work in the Department of Pediatrics Child Development Center. Away from the office, Dr. Animashaun enjoys traveling, watching movies and spending time with her husband and four children.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Animashaun believes that preventive health is the mainstay of good health and that regular preventive visits ensure proactive health care. Each patient is an integral part of Dr. Animashaun’s healthcare team. She encourages parental involvement, as well as the patient’s involvement in health care and decision making. Dr. Animashaun encourages open communication, practices evidence-based medicine and supports recommendations by the American Academy of Pediatricians.
Dr. Animashaun specializes in primary care, adolescent medicine, newborn care, education, prevention (immunizations, anticipatory guidance, etc.) and sports medicine (including physicals).
