Biography
Dr. Kyle Carlson is an orthopedic surgeon with Goshen Orthopedics. He is fellowship trained in adult reconstruction orthopedic surgery and specializes in total joint replacement of hips and knees. He also treats patients with general orthopedic problems, including injuries and trauma to bones, ligaments and tendons.
Dr. Carlson has advanced training and experience in treating complex cases. He specializes in adult revisions to joint replacements and treatment for conditions caused by degenerative diseases, including arthritis.
His goal is to help patients get back to activities that are most important to them. His conservative approach blends non-operative treatment and surgical solutions to relieve musculoskeletal pain or discomfort that may limit a patient's quality of life.
A native of Indiana, Dr. Carlson and his family enjoy outdoor activities in the Goshen community and being close to family. His hobbies include running, fishing, woodworking and travel.
Philosophy of Care
For Dr. Carlson, patient treatment is a team effort. He believes patients deserve to know all options – non-surgical and surgical – before making decisions about a treatment plan. It's the best way for patients to know what treatment is best for them to meet their goals.
