Biography

Djavid Hadian, MD, is a board certified cardiologist with fellowship training in cardiac electrophysiology (EP). He specializes in interventional techniques to manage cardiac arrhythmias and prevent sudden cardiac death. His expertise extends from complex EP studies to evaluate the electrical circuits in the heart to catheter ablation therapy to treat irregular heart rhythms.

Dr. Hadian has kept hearts beating strong for patients in north central Indiana for more than a decade. His services include heart testing and maintenance of heart wellness as well as pacemaker and defibrillator implants and care.

As a faculty member at Ohio State University, Dr. Hadian has trained other doctors in heart rhythm management and helped to advance the education of future leaders in cardiology.

Biography

Dr. Chris Haimes is a board certified family medicine physician at the Goshen Physicians Family Medicine Pro Park. She is a dedicated member of not only the medical community, but also her home town. Born at Goshen General Hospital, she later attended Goshen High School and Adrian College. Dr. Haimes went on to receive her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. From there, she did her residency at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

Dr. Haimes believes her patients deserve someone who is committed to providing the highest quality of care possible while respecting the patients’ needs and concerns regarding their overall well-being. Dr. Haimes strives hard to care for every patient as she would her own family. She is committed to caring for the entire patient while helping them navigate the healthcare system.

Biography

Karen Heffernan is a family medicine nurse practitioner with Goshen Physicians. She provides care at an on-site health clinic for insured employees and their family members at Jayco. Preventive services Karen provides include wellness exams, health screenings, immunizations and vaccinations. Karen also offers immediate care for patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries.
 
With three decades of experience in nursing, public health and dietetics, Karen is highly skilled in helping patients manage chronic diseases and build a healthy lifestyle for improved quality of life.
 
Karen cares about her community. She and her husband are strong advocates for local health initiatives. They also appreciate a good walk through the neighborhood with their dog and exploring local eateries.

Ross A. Heil, DO, is a gastroenterologist who provides medical care at Goshen Physicians | Gastroenterology. He uses the latest therapies and newest technologies that are grounded in the medical literature to treat upper and lower gastrointestinal structural and functional issues. He also focuses on preventive gastrointestinal medicine and performs screening colonoscopies. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Heil enjoys water and snow skiing, camping, canoeing and spending time with his wife and three young boys on Lake Wawasee.

Biography

Lylian Hermann is a family nurse practitioner at Goshen Physicians Family Medicine Milford. She works closely with a clinical team of providers to deliver primary care for patients of all ages throughout the lifespan. Her services range from preventive care and wellness visits to treatment for acute illnesses and management of chronic diseases.
 
Lylian holds a particular interest in disease prevention through lifestyle modification, including nutrition, exercise and stress management. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, she serves as an interpreter to bridge communication barriers between patients and healthcare providers.

Lenora Hirschler MD, is a board certified family physician with over 10 years of experience. She sees patients in the outpatient setting and provides primary care for the whole family, excluding pregnancy care.

Amy has experience working with patients across their lifespan and in a wide variety of patient care settings, ranging from office encounters to surgical settings. Amy graduated magna cum laude from Goshen College in Goshen, IN, with a Master of Science in Nursing. She also graduated magna cum laude from Goshen College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Amy is dedicated to providing quality, individualized care for the entire family. She has delivered a presentation titled “HPV: From the Cellular Level to the Human Experience” to medical students at University of Notre Dame. She has also attended national conferences on infection control and epidemiology. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Biography

Dr. Kevin Houseman is a podiatrist with Goshen Orthopedics. Dr. Houseman is certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery®. Nearly a decade of education, training and private practice have advanced his proficiency in diagnosing and treating diseases, deformities, disorders and traumatic injuries of the foot and ankle.

A leader in wound care, Dr. Houseman has extensive experience providing diabetic wound care and limb preservation. His comprehensive approach to wound management includes coordination of hyperbaric oxygen therapy at Goshen Wound Clinic to accelerate healing of chronic wounds.

Dr. Houseman’s clinical experience has taken him from outpatient and inpatient settings to the emergency room and surgery center. The broad range of conditions he treats include toenail conditions, fractures, sprains, strains and tendonitis of the foot and ankle. Dr. Houseman also provides care for plantar fasciitis, flat foot pain, bunions and hammertoes.

Judy Huff is a nurse practitioner with the medical oncology team at Goshen Center for Cancer Care. She treats patients with cancer as they go through chemotherapy or biotherapy and helps manage symptoms of treatment. As part of her approach to care, Judy serves as an advocate and helps patients and their families navigate through treatment at a difficult time in their lives.
 
Interests in photography, cooking, baking and amateur woodworking keep Judy busy when she is away from patient care. She enjoys hiking with her husband and goldendoodle and indulges in a good read whenever she can.
