Ram Khattri Chettri, MBA-HCM, MS, MATS, NP-C, RN, is the director of heart and vascular services. He is a board certified cardiology nurse practitioner who evaluates and makes guidelinedriven recommendations and treatments for patients with cardiovascular disorders. As a service line administrator, Ram evaluates systems of care to assure Goshen Heart & Vascular Center is delivering accessible, highly skilled and defectfree care to the community. His optimism in the unlimited human potential for innovation and benevolence inspires him to seek results that improve the health of our communities through best practices and quality outcomes.
Philosophy of Care
Ram’s goal is to restore health and wellness to patients in ways that are safe, guideline driven and appropriate. Compassion for patients and empathy for their individual cardiovascular and other comorbid conditions are the foundations for patient care.
Cardiovascular disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease and cardiovascular risk factors are some of Ram’s clinical interests.
Ram's research interests include STEMI system of care, managing atrial fibrillation and managing heart failure. He is also interested in the continuum of care from cardiovascular wellness and promotion to guideline-driven chronic cardiovascular disease management – with emphasis on early identification, treatment and prevention.
