Biography
Houman Vaghefi, MD, MS, PhD, is a board certified radiation oncologist at Goshen Center for Cancer Care. He applies advanced internal and external therapies to deliver targeted doses of radiation for treating patients with cancer, while reducing side effects and improving patient outcomes. His expertise extends across a wide range of cancers, including prostate, colorectal, breast, lung, and head and neck cancers, CNS malignancies as well as gynecologic, gastrointestinal and genitourinary malignancies and rare tumors.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Vaghefi believes that a patient’s quality of life is as important as treating the disease. He also knows family members and other support networks play an important role in a patient’s outcome and well-being. Dr. Vaghefi’s holistic, multidisciplinary approach includes interacting with primary care physicians, naturopathic doctors and others important in the overall care and health of the patient.
