Cardiac rehabilitation is a medically supervised program to help you improve your heart health. Your doctor may recommend cardiac rehabilitation to manage existing heart and vascular conditions, prevent future heart problems, recover from a heart attack or surgery and reduce risk factors for heart disease.
From prevention to rehabilitation, our approach to heart care at Goshen Heart & Vascular Center is complete. Certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), our program for cardiac rehabilitation in Goshen, IN, is designed to meet your unique needs and find innovative ways to care for your whole being, not just a heart problem. We encourage healing through coaching, education, supervised exercise and emotional support.
Your integrated care team may include:
- Your primary care provider
- Exercise specialists
- Physical and occupational therapists
- Mental health providers
How do you know if cardiac rehab is right for you? Talk to your primary care provider about a heart screening to learn more about the state of your heart health and determine treatment. If you don’t have a primary care provider, call (877) 566-4660 for a referral.
