At Goshen Health, our mission is to improve the health of our communities we serve. One way we do that is by providing exceptional care from a team of dedicated professionals. Another way is by making sure you are empowered with all the information necessary to make smart decisions about your care. We can help!

Use our Price Planner Tool to understand the costs of an upcoming procedure at Goshen Hospital. Below is the list of specific services currently available:
  • Bone density
  • CT scan
  • Cardiology
  • MRI
  • Mammography
  • Sleep study
  • Ultrasound
  • X-ray
Complete a Request an Estimate form to find out how much certain services cost. Once your completed form is submitted, you will receive a phone call to discuss your estimate. It is important to note that you will need the procedure code(s), which your doctor's office should be able to provide to you. Some important facts to consider when making your decision:
  • The highest cost provider may not be the best quality provider. There is no correlation between cost and quality, outcomes or service.
  • Cost estimates through your insurance - because every insurance plan is different, the most accurate information about out-of-pocket costs will come from your insurance provider. You can obtain this information by calling the customer service number on your insurance ID card.
  • Cost estimates through Goshen Hospital - currently, you can receive cost estimates through Goshen Hospital for imaging services, cardiopulmonary services as well as outpatient and inpatient surgery services. Our Estimate Request form lists all the information you will need to provide.
Call one of our financial counselors to best help you navigate the entire process. By talking with us directly at (574) 364-1204, we can identify a more accurate cost estimate for you and help answer any questions you have.

Here to help

We understand the process of establishing costs and making informed decisions can be overwhelming and confusing. Our goal is to empower you through information. In addition to having financial counselors available and the online Price Planner Tool, we have provided a list of our standard hospital charges pursuant to the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ 2019 regulations. These charges are the same for every patient, regardless of their insurance and financial status. However, it is important to note that the total amount a patient is charged may vary with that of another patient, even if similar services were provided. The variation may be due to the patient’s condition, supplies used, complexity of the service or procedure and whether or not they received care in an inpatient, outpatient or emergency room setting. Additionally, these charges do not include our discounted negotiated rates with public or private insurance companies.

When considering your healthcare options, there are several factors to consider in addition to cost. Exceptional quality, trust in your physician and provider commitment to patient satisfaction and safety are important aspects to keep in mind. Goshen Health is proud of the quality, reliability and convenience we offer patients.
