Register for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Renewal for COLLEAGUES ONLY
The Advanced Cardiac life Support Class (ACLS) is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in or out of a hospital. Through the ACLS course, providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. ACLS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
Classes are available to all paramedics, nurses and physicians. You must pick up materials to complete prerequisite tests prior to class. At least a week before the class begins is recommended. Colleagues are to use department supplied materials and payments made at Pro Park One, 2120 South Main St, Goshen, IN 46526 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.
Per the AHA students must review, understand, and pass the mandatory precourse self-assessment with a score of 70% or higher. Students must review, understand, and complete the mandatory precourse work (video lessons). Once you have passed the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment and completed the video lessons, print your certificate, and bring it with you to class.br/>
