Register for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - COLLEAGUES ONLY
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support Class (PALS) is designed to provide information needed to recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest. It also provides strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children; the cognitive and psychomotor skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock or cardiopulmonary arrest.
Classes are available to all Paramedics, Nurses and Physicians. Materials must be picked up to complete prerequisite tests prior to class, at least a week before the class begins is recommended. Colleagues are to use department supplied materials and payments made at Pro Park One, 2120 South Main St, Goshen, IN 46526 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.
Per the AHA : “ Students must complete and pass the precourse Self-Assessment with a score of 70% or higher”. Instructions to take the online Self-Assessment is found in the course textbook. If students arrive without a certificate of completion or a score less than 70% , they will be asked to reschedule.
