Chronic Wounds

General Information

Healing chronic wounds

We use advanced therapies for healing chronic wounds caused by a multitude of conditions at the Goshen Wound & Hyperbaric Center. Our board-certified providers are specialty-trained in the latest treatments and technology available for wound care.

We feature two hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) chambers at our state-of-the-art facility. Proven to speed the healing process for certain diagnoses, HBOT is one aspect of our wide range of treatments and services. We also offer compression, negative pressure therapy and cellular tissue options. In addition to dressing and treating chronic wounds, we can help with offloading devices and footwear to reduce pressure and promote healing.

We work in conjunction with Goshen Hospital to provide outpatient services for wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Our program complements the services of your primary care doctor.

How We Treat Chronic Wounds

Your path to healing begins with a thorough diagnostic examination and review of your medical history. We identify your wound type, its severity and the underlying cause. Then we develop a plan to treat your wound, using advanced techniques that aid healing, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Beyond treating the wound itself, at the Goshen Wound & Hyperbaric Center, we also educate you and your caregivers on ways to take proper care of your wound. We also guide you in lifestyle changes that could accelerate healing and prevent recurrences.
