Rehabilitation Therapy
At Goshen Rehabilitation, you work one-on-one with highly trained rehabilitation specialists to build a plan that addresses your needs, abilities and goals.
Our Approach
Recovering from a serious injury, illness or surgery is never easy. It can limit your ability to eat, communicate, take care of yourself, even move about your home or community. That's why you may need rehabilitation services to help restore your independence and regain the quality of life you enjoy.
At Goshen Rehabilitation, you work one-on-one with highly trained rehabilitation specialists to build a plan that addresses your needs, abilities and goals. Your treatment program may include:
- Physical therapy to get you moving in the right direction
- Occupational therapy to help you regain your independence and return to the activities of everyday life
- Speech-language therapy to rebuild communication functions and help with swallowing and eating difficulties
A rehabilitation road map designed specifically for you
We take care of you, not just a body part. That means we look beyond the injury, pain or condition that may limit your independence, communication or mobility to help you get the most out of life. We also work with you to learn how to lower your risk of injury or relapse and live your life to its fullest.
Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services
Whether you are in Goshen Hospital or recovering at home, our rehabilitation providers can help get you on the road to recovery. We offer services for patients of all ages, from premature infants to seniors.
Everything we do at Goshen Rehabilitation is centered around taking care of you. That means we do more than treat an injury or disability – we consider the whole person. We assess your challenges, capabilities and goals and guide you through a treatment program tailored specifically for you.
- Outpatient rehabilitation
- When you are ready for rehabilitation outside the hospital, you can choose from one of our convenient locations to restore your abilities and regain your independence. Our outpatient facilities are equipped with a team of experts who can help you get back to living life again.
- Acute-care rehabilitation
- We provide evidence-based rehabilitation as well as early mobilization for patients in our intensive care unit. Our therapists provide advanced care for patients who have neurological conditions, including stroke rehabilitation, or have had orthopedic procedures, including total joint replacement surgery.
- Pediatric outpatient rehabilitation
- Children sometimes need special help as they grow and develop. We offer occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology services for pediatric patients from birth through adolescence. Our team has extensive experience in pediatric developmental, neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation. Pediatric therapy can help with physical, sensory, motor, speech, language, feeding, cognitive and academic difficulties.
