Urological and genitourinary cancer symptoms
Signs of urological and genitourinary cancer depend on the specific cancer and what part of the body it affects. Some, such as bladder cancer, cause symptoms early in the disease. This is helpful because you may notice symptoms and talk to your doctor sooner.
On the other hand, other types of cancers, such as prostate cancer, rarely cause symptoms in the early stages. They may be found during a screening or might not be diagnosed until an advanced stage. Some cancers have obvious signs. For example, penile and testicular cancer symptoms may include a lump, ulceration or swelling.
If you see that something’s not quite normal, it’s important to see your doctor for a diagnosis.
