Goshen Health ofrece un grupo de apoyo para la insuficiencia cardíaca en Greencroft

The next meeting of Goshen Health’s heart failure support group will be Thursday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Greencroft Community Center in Goshen. This month’s meeting will feature discussion of a self-check plan for recognizing worsening symptoms of heart failure including the American Heart Association action plan for worsening symptoms. Written information will be available for attendees to take home, including a Self-Check Plan as well as a handout on Procedures That May Help Heart Failure. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
 
The heart failure support group is free and open to all persons with heart failure and their families. It is a place to share common experiences and concerns in a supportive, friendly group atmosphere. A clinical nurse specialist is also available to answer your questions about managing heart failure. The group meets at the same time on the second Thursday of every month at Greencroft Community Center. Registration is not necessary. To learn more, call (574) 364-2871.
