El Centro de Atención cardiovascular de Goshen da la bienvenida a cardiólogo intervencionista
Board certified cardiologist Sreenivas Kamath, MD, FACC, FSCAI, recently joined Goshen Heart & Vascular Center. He is fellowship trained in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Kamath specializes in nonsurgical techniques to diagnose and treat patients with heart disease and congenital heart defects. He focuses on catheter-based procedures to repair damaged or weakened vessels, narrowed arteries or other affected parts of the heart.
“Dr. Kamath brings over two decades of experience in the treatment of cardiovascular disease," said Randy Christophel, Goshen Health President and Chief Executive Officer. "With his expertise, we look forward to expanding the care and services we offer our community through our heart and vascular center.”
Dr. Kamath earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Kerala, Kerala, India; and Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Mahatma Gandhi University College of Medicine, Kerala, India. He received additional internal medicine residency training from Wright State University School of Medicine, Dayton, Ohio; and cardiology fellowship training at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He had interventional cardiology fellowship training at the Methodist DeBakey Medical Center, Houston, Texas, and the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston.
