Outpatient surgery at Goshen Surgery Center

At Goshen Surgery Center, our mission is to improve the health of our communities by providing convenient access to high quality, high value surgical services, through caring staff in a safe and inviting environment.

Our approach

You and your doctor may decide that an outpatient procedure at Goshen Surgery Center offers the best option for you. With outpatient surgery, you return home the same day as your procedure to recuperate.
We provide a comfortable, safe environment with a medical team focused on delivering personalized patient care. That means:

  • Convenient scheduling that works for you
  • Fewer delays caused by emergencies
  • Streamlined registration
  • Specialized patient care by a highly trained medical team
  • Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, unlike a typical hospital environment

Our surgeons and specialists meet or exceed the standards of safe, high-quality patient care set by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC)

Goshen Health News & Articles

  • Focus on food – good food – for the month of March

March is National Nutrition Month, according to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. This month you are invited to learn how to make informed food choices and develop healthful eating and physical activity habits. This year’s theme is, “Personalize Your Plate: because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition and health. We are all unique with different bodies, goals, backgrounds and tastes!” Here are some suggestions from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (eatright.org) to help you develop healthier eating habits this month:

  • Choosing virtual or in-person care

Virtual visits can be used for many of the reasons you normally schedule an office appointment with your primary care provider. In-person visits are important when you need a physical exam or care that requires medical equipment to assess your condition and provide treatment.

  • Colonoscopy – The gold standard

A colonoscopy is the only test that allows your doctor to find and remove polyps during the same exam. That means removal of abnormal tissue before it grows into cancer.
