Magnet® with Distinction

The Magnet Recognition Program® honors healthcare organizations that meet rigorous standards for nursing excellence, quality patient care, and innovation in nursing practice. Administered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the program evaluates an organization’s nursing performance over the previous four years.

Goshen Hospital first earned Magnet designation in 2004 and achieved re-designation in 2009, 2014, 2019, and 2024. In 2024, the hospital received its fifth designation, Magnet® with Distinction, a new category recognizing organizations that exceed standards. Goshen Hospital was commended for excellence in nine areas, including lower patient injury rates, higher patient satisfaction, and a high percentage of nurses with bachelor’s degrees.

Being a Magnet designated organization since 2004 validates our culture of excellence and commitment to high quality care and outcomes. Click here for more information about what it means for you to be a part of a Magnet designated hospital.
