About
Biography
Alexa Liberi is a speech-language pathologist with Goshen Physicians ENT, Speech & Audiology. She evaluates and treats adults and adolescents with voice, upper airway, swallowing and cognitive communication disorders. Alexa provides thorough diagnostic and rehabilitation services using interdisciplinary and functional methods of care.
Alexa is also a trained professional singer and singing voice specialist, distinguishing her as an expert in vocal injury prevention and rehabilitation for professional speakers and singers.
Music and song fill Alexa’s days when she is away from patient care. A classical soprano, jazz soloist and front woman, she has toured across the Midwest and East Coast with various groups. Locally, Alexa is a member of the South Bend Chamber Singers and has starred in productions at the South Bend Civic Theatre. Aside from the stage, Alexa enjoys exploring the riverfront with her Rottweiler, Zita, thrift shopping and all things Food Network.
Philosophy of Care
Communication and collaboration are vital parts of Alexa’s approach to care. She works closely with a team of ear, nose and throat experts to provide the gold standard of care for patients. Alexa strives to help patients regain and develop skills to function well in their everyday lives and enjoy what’s most important to them. She is particularly passionate about providing timely and effective care for patients with acute vocal injuries.
