Biography

Dr. Amanda Meersman is a board certified primary care physician at Goshen Physicians Parkway at 17. She provides a continuity of health care for the entire family, from newborns and teens to young adults and older generations.

Preventive care is vital to living a longer, healthier life in Dr. Meersman's view. That's why she encourages patients to maintain a regular schedule of wellness checkups, routine health screenings, vaccinations and immunizations. She also manages care for patients with chronic conditions, including obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

Away from her medical practice, Dr. Meersman enjoys family time, travel, antique shopping and spending time outside.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Meersman believes patient care begins with developing a relationship based on trust and respect. She treats patients like they are all family and encourages them to take an active role in their health and wellbeing. Education also plays an important part in Dr. Meersman's approach to care. She gives patients the information they need to make healthy lifestyle choices.
