Dr. Chad Smoker is a board certified family medicine physician with Goshen Physicians Family Medicine New Paris. He provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from children and teens to adults and seniors. His services include preventive care, chronic disease management and treatment for acute illnesses. He also performs in-office procedures, such as basic dermatologic and orthopedic treatments.
With more than two decades of experience in rural family medicine, Dr. Smoker brings a seasoned and compassionate approach to patient care. He previously served as a high school team physician for more than a decade and spent 18 years caring for patients in the hospital. That experience gives him valuable insight into managing complex conditions and helping patients transition between different care settings.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Smoker enjoys spending time with his wife, three adult children, two cats, family and friends. He also likes exercising, barbecuing, reading and watching both live and televised sporting events.
