Jeanine Kaufman, NP, is a hospice nurse practitioner with more than twenty years of experience providing compassionate end-of-life and palliative care. She specializes in managing pain and symptoms for patients with terminal illness, ensuring expert medical care that supports both individuals and their care partners with prioritizing comfort, dignity and quality of life at home.

Philosophy of Care

Jeanine believes that caring for patients at the end of life is a profound privilege. She is deeply humbled by the trust patients and families place in the hospice team during some of their most vulnerable moments. Her approach centers on meeting patients and care partners where they are physically, emotionally and spiritually to ensure care is guided by what matters most to them.

She prioritizes shared decision-making, open communication and education to support comfort, understanding and trust throughout the hospice journey.
